New Adviser Ratings Website Attracts 850 Advisers and 13,000 Visitors
The free online Adviser Ratings service has signed up 850 advisers across the country and attracted 13,000 visitors to its website, just three weeks after launching.
The service is already helping advisers promote their service, be rated on their performance and credentials, as well as monitoring their clients’ satisfaction levels and behaviour.
The Adviser Ratings service is also now providing a forum for clients to rate and comment on their advisers, who are be found through a locator and are now publishing their qualifications, experience and expertise, memberships of industry bodies and compliance standards.
The website, www.adviserratings.com.au, has listed over 18,000 advisers across Australia and is expected to eventually host the majority of them.
One adviser who has signed up, Daniel Sharp of Warrington Scott, said “I am finding Adviser Ratings is a great promotional tool for my services and their screening of comments has given me comfort.
“I have been surprised at the number of reviews and the thought clients have put into them. It is helping me understand where the customer is coming from and giving them worthwhile information about what I have to offer and how it has been received. I am now a platinum star adviser and will use this standard as a promotional tool to expand my client base”, he added.
Another adviser, Joshua Stega of JAS Wealth, said “I was one of the first advisers to use Adviser Ratings and because of my strong rating on the site, I have picked up my first client!
“I will be using the site and urge other planners to get on board on what is the future of financial planning”, he added.
Principal of Adviser Ratings, Mr Angus Woods, said “We are delighted with the very strong response to our service amongst advisers and their clients. Our ratings and review service features strict controls, with advisers now comfortable with the opportunity to promote themselves and monitor their clients’ attitudes toward them.
“Advisers are screening and responding to clients’ reviews and ratings before they are published on our closely monitored website, providing them with strong protection”, he added.
The Adviser Ratings team features finance and consumer experts, led by Mr Woods, who was previously CFO of Virgin Money and has 20 years of experience in the finance industry, and consumer advocate Christopher Zinn.
