On claiming your Profile, you will have free ongoing access to all of your profiles features and functionality, including the ability to upload video content to your profile (via the "My Profile" tab when logged into your profile), access to the “Stats and Reports” tab (handy for benchmarking), the review widget and more. You can also start using your profile as an effective marketing tool, including using it to enhance your Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) on sites like Google.
Your profile has free “buttons and badges” that you can download that can help you fulfil the valuable function of disseminating information about yourself to the individual who is actually viewing the material.
There are various sizes to choose from with selected messages or Calls To Action (CTA) like “Find me on Adviser Ratings” or “Adviser Ratings Gold Adviser”.
The only thing you have to do is place them where you want on your website and/or your email signature. They are dynamic (clickable) and “set and forget”. Once added to your website or email signature a consumer may click on them and they will be taken to your profile with no extra work on your part.
This provides a one touch connection to your Adviser Ratings profile on the internet. Each click increases the “strength of connection” between your site and your profile on Adviser Ratings. This ultimately feeds into search engine algorithms and will increase your visibility on search engines such as Google.
This is just one way to improve your search ranking on Google. It’s all about getting eyeballs on your profile page. You can do this simply by sharing a link to your profile with your friends on Facebook or any other social media channel.
But one of the best ways to improve your profile is to get your current clients to review you. We have a template set up to make it simple to invite clients to rate you and keep track of the responses. Once you get just one review on your profile, a star rating will accompany your search return in Google, because Google recognises Adviser Ratings as a bona-fide independent ratings and review site.
