I have been a Financial Planner since 2008, and in 2015, I founded Diligent Financial Planning—an independent, fee-for-service advisory firm dedicated to providing advice that is completely free from institutional influence or bias. From the beginning, our mission has been to prioritize our clients' best interests above all else.

In 2022, we strengthened our commitment to true independence by transitioning to a self-licensed practice. This decision ensures that we operate without conflicts of interest, allowing us to uphold the highest standards of integrity and professionalism in our advice and client relationships.

I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, a Diploma and Advanced Diploma in Financial Services, and I am an Associate Member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA).

We have an initial 15 minute phone discussion with potential new clients to understand their enquiry at a high level.

We also explain who we are and how we operate, so potential new clients and we can decide whether it is mutually beneficial to set our first meeting i.e. a Discovery Session to understand who they are, what is important to them, how they are tracking towards their objectives and whether we can help.
