Matt first moved to Wangaratta in 2006 before moving to Melbourne for University. He moved back to Wangaratta in 2011 to take up employment in the Family Business. Matt is involved in local sports where he is currently the President of Violet town Football & Neball Club. Matt is Married to Prue and together they have a son Oliver
