My siblings and I approached Debbie for advice when our mother had to go into residential aged care. Debbie helped us to see what sort of accommodation deposit we could afford. Debbie also assisted us in organising our mother's finances going forward.

As a result of previous experience we had lost all faith in the financial services industry. We were particularly keen to identify a truly independent financial adviser, that is, someone whose advice would be completely free of any potential conflict of interest. We needed assistance in a somewhat urgent situation where we needed independent financial advice about whether or not it was wise to proceed with the purchase of a villa in a retirement village.
