I’ve been at Rising Tide since 2007, it was my first job. A serious ride this far - I’m now the managing director.

We work with individuals & couples who are likely to be tackling any or all of the following in the next few years - buying & selling property, looking to invest, families, school fees, travel & wanting to keep an eye on their retirement goals.

Goals-based advice, mortgages, super, life insurance & investing are our wheelhouses.

Day to day I run the business - but I also get to spend lots of my week belly-to-belly with clients - to help them achieve the important things in their life through good financial management.

Early days I completed a Bachelor of Commerce at Deakin Uni, but since then I’ve completed more specific financial planning-related study. Textbook learning is important, but learning from human interaction is the part of my job is what I love the most. Recently I completed the Australian Institute of Directors course inDirectorship.

Away from work, Annie and I live in Melbourne not far from our Docklands office - we are also very lucky to have had our amazing little kids Max & Rosie.

Family is a big part of my life, but I love sport, particularly footy, and am fortunate to have a close connection with the Carlton football club.

Matt has given me advice in the areas including- Selling or retaining shares that I have in Telstra & Aurizon Qld Rail, discussion re holiday letting of my Barwon Heads property in the near future so as to receive income, whether to increase my pension payment from my Superannuation (Macquarie). Matt as per usual was able to answer all my questions and concerns. I feel Matt wholeheartedly gives me the care and attention at all times. Although I have no great fortune I know that I am in the capable hands of Matt and I am always confident that is advice and knowledge is beneficial to me.
