Helping people improve their financial position provides me a great deal of personal satisfaction. Every day I use knowledge gained from my academic qualifications in Economics, Marketing, Business, and Financial Planning to make a positive contribution to a client’s situation. My clients also benefit from my experience in the finance industry, which started on the bottom rung of a finance company in 1985. This experience definitely helps me be a better adviser, to understand a client’s challenges and goals, and to translate our advice and simplify the complexities of the finance world in a way that clients can understand. Working with clients to put them in a better position is a great reward. In fact I feel very fortunate to have found a job that provides such a lot of satisfaction. It’s not all markets, tax and strategy. I manage to find plenty of time to be part of our family life and taking over the kitchen on weekends. Occasionally, I even manage to watch a game of rugby with a glass of red.

Having retired over 22 years ago and being self funded meant that we needed professional guidance. Falconer Advisers and Glynn have delivered this in spades , allowing us to live a lifestyle that has included numerous overseas trips and maintaining a comfortable living. Having an adviser that is looking after our super and investments means that we need only to review the results as we wish and then follow up with a full scheduled review with Glynn. At this meeting we get an overview of our situation together with what is trending in the world of finance. Glynn is able to put into laymen's terms the information that we need to keep abreast of our investments.
