Each day I get to make a difference in the path my clients take. It is about sharing the financial load that they carry and using my expertise to guide them down the right path. It is not always an easy conversation, my role is to be honest with you, not to tell you what you want to hear but tell you what you need to hear. Having been divorced myself I understand what financial upheaval is like. I was also an only child of a Mother who was a busy divorced medical practitioner and watching her as a child struggle without an adviser at her side is the reason today I take such pride in providing quality financial planning advice. No one should ever feel left alone, with no where to turn to. A safe source of truth and a first step onto the financial ladder is what we all deserve. This is why in 2013 I launched a community known as Leapfrog Women & Money to be a source of what I call extra-marital advice for women. A place for them to turn to when they want to improve their financial understanding. Evolution is important to everyone and since I started my business in 2011, Leapfrog Financial, it has been on quite a journey. I was fortunate enough to be selected as one of three advisers to be involved and to go on and win in the Sky Business Channel No More Practice Transformation 2014 show. The Financial Planning Industry is one that I am proud to be part of and currently I am NSW Chair of AFA Inspire, focused increasing the number of women advisers and women seeking advice.
