Esther Althaus

Esther Althaus established Perspective Financial Services Pty Ltd in 2003, after working in the mining industry, when she recognised that by helping other people achieve their goals, she could achieve her own. 

When it became evident that Esther's marriage was about to end, she realised that if she and her 3 young daughters were going to live a life of financial freedom and happiness she would need to start working on an immediate plan that would allow her to do so.

With little studies behind her but a keen interest in financial services and wealth management, Esther undertook a number of studies which have culminated in her receiving the highly regarded Fellow Chartered Financial Practitioner designation. 

Esther has also undertake studies with the Law Institute of Victoria and is a Collaborative Professional which enables her to undertake the role of independent financial professional in collaborative family law matters.

Esther was the inaugural winner of the Association of Adviser's Rising Star Award. She went onto become the AFA's GenXt Chair of Vic, followed by 2 terms on the AFA board as VIC Director, is the immediate past Chairman of the AFA Foundation and now, proudly, one of the of the judges of the AFA Rising Star Award.

Esther is passionate about working with women to ensure that their money is protected and preserved, particularly at a time when they are vulnerable and are required to make significant decisions that affect their long term well being.

Specialties: Working with women who have experienced divorce or death of their spouse and are wanting someone to manage their wealth so they can have the freedom to live the life they choose.
