Mark Hams

Mark’s path to the Financial Planning industry is a little unconventional. Growing up on a beef cattle property in Central Queensland, and following the completion of his Financial Planning qualifications, he joined us in 2021 following 12 years as an Engineer – eight of those as a Regional Manager covering Queensland and New Zealand. He has always enjoyed working with people but was drawn to Financial Planning due to the opportunity to build meaningful, long-term relationships with people and to be able to play his part in their financial success. He thoroughly enjoys helping to make complex issues simple.

When not in the office, he loves making the most of his spare time. He enjoys spending time with his wife and toy poodle Teddie. He loves to start the day with a great coffee, finish it what a tasty XPA, and always looks forward to the next opportunity to travel or jump on his paddleboard.

Mark holds a Dual Degree in Business (Management)/Engineering (Mechanical), a Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning, and is a Commissioner for Declarations.
