Janine McLean

I am a born and raised farm girl, having grown up on the family farm in Patchewollock. The youngest of five children, I have a massive love of the land (and in particular the families patch of red dirt), but I also have found a passion for working with clients to secure their financial futures as well as helping to educate them along the way, so that they can make informed financial decisions.

Being a small business owner myself, I understand the hard work and determination that small business owners put into their business and also know how important it is to be able to pass this legacy on, especially within family farming businesses.

I have been involved in Financial Planning since 2002 and hold a Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning) and are continuing to undertake further studies to build on the practical knowledge I have obtained over the years. Through a comprehensive pathway into Advising, I have owned and operated my own paraplanning business for the past seven years, working with a range of Financial Advisers, Australia wide, whom have a vast range of clientele requiring a diverse and comprehensive range of strategy outcomes.

By far, my heart lies with small communities and farming families and I know the struggles these families have, not only in their day to day operations, but being able to access services within their immediate areas. That’s why I’m also happy to come to you and you don’t need to make a special trip to town, just to see your adviser.

I have also experienced working in the Financial Planning profession internationally, having worked with a boutique financial planning firm in Calgary, Canada, for three years. This not only provided me with the opportunity to work with a range of high net worth clients, but also allowed me to further expand my financial planning knowledge and to gain a greater understanding of the financial planning process.
