We were seeking some financial advice prior to redrafting our wills and Tristan from Brisbane Money Management (BMM) was recommended to us by a friend. Upon meeting with Tristan a very good repour was quickly developed and he showed a clear understanding of our situation and current goals. When walking out of that first meeting it seemed as if a weight had been lifted off our shoulders and a plan was beginning to form. Tristan was very upfront and did not hesitate to admit where his knowledge was not current with regard to Disability Support Trusts and over the next couple of weeks sought information and advice from his wide circle of professional colleagues. He kept us informed and provided excellent advice and clarity for us in the direction we wanted to take and the available options. BMM is certainly not in the business of selling you something, which was really refreshing. Would we recommend BMM (Tristan)? Yes, we certainly would with absolutely no hesitation.

Tristan has been a very instrumental part of my successful financial journey. His advice has helped me to live very comfortably in retirement without the worry factor, which he does for me. His expertise and advice has helped me, not only on my happy retirement path, but also with educational investments for family members. These have been monumentally successful. His sound understanding of financial betterment has assisted my children in securing their own home in this unusual financial climate. We had our first meeting with Tristan at the beginning of this year. Within a few months he had revolutionised both of our super accounts, reviewed and corrected our insurance policies, offered options for investing (which he then helped us implement) and found a clause in one of our insurance policies that enabled a substantial payout. He has consistently listened to our goals and aspirations and has worked tirelessly to help us get the future (short-term and long-term) that we want. We have had several in-person meetings, and we always look forward to talking with Tristan and never feel rushed during our meetings. We have zero financial literacy and Tristan has been very patient with us, explaining things very clearly! We would have no qualms in recommending Tristan, particularly as he does not have a 'one size fits all' mentality!
