Like many others, I didn’t believe that I needed a financial adviser. I would stick my money in a short term deposit account and manage it myself.

After reading through the government resources, which were very good, and talking with Centrelink staff, who were also surprisingly helpful, I realised that I needed help navigating some complex systems.

I met with James after supplying him with an online pre-first meeting summary of my wants and needs in retirement.

James is a great listener and a great communicator, with his explanations and started to understand much more about my own situation and how I could possibly achieve my aims.

I am confident that I would never have been able to navigate my way through it all myself.

And I have already suggested that one of my friends goes to see him, so yes, I would recommend James for sound advice.

James had very good knowledge on how to set up a superannuation pension and an investment fund while minimising tax. He was able to explain how it all works in simple "layman's" terms which my wife and I understood. Importantly, you feel comfortable knowing your money is invested wisely through James's expertise.

Good guy, halved my fees from previous Super fund, with a more simple easy to manage and view fund. Looking forward to future with James, at last an honest Financial adviser and good bloke.
